Hello,
One of our BlueROV2 vehicles is not responding to the joystick inputs. When I try to arm the vehicle or move the camera nothing happens. If I check the Qgroundcontrol or Cockpit joystick configurations the setup shows that the BlueROV2 should arm/disarm or move the camera when pressing the correspondent buttons but it does not, even though the buttons are shown as pressed (when pressed) in the Qgroundcontrol and Cockpit GUI. If I arm the vehicle manually then two warnings pop up:
”Compass performance degraded”
“Backup parameters are missing or zero”
After armed, when I use the joysticks the motors do not move at all, however when using the interface to test the motors, they move. Also, if I check the SERVO_OUTPUT_RAW message, the values won’t change when pressing the “move camera” buttons or moving the joysticks.
It seems like if a bridge was missing and the vehicle is not receiving the “move/act” commands from the joystick.
I am using a Navigator Flight Controller. ArduSub version is 4.5.6 STABLE, Qgroundcontrol version is 4.2.8. I am using a PC with Ubuntu 20.
I would apreciate any help.
EDIT: Qgroundcontrol and Cockpit show that the controller is enabled. I am using a Logitech F310 which works well with other BlueROVs.
