Powering Navigation Board through GPIO causing continuous noise

When powering a Raspberry Pi with a Navigator Board using the Blue Robotics 5V 6A power supply, it starts off by making a really loud, continuous noise. After some time, it becomes really quiet but is still present. This only seems to be happening when powering through GPIO, and I run into no issues with USBC.

Nothing else is connected, it’s just the Raspberry Pi, the Navigator Board, and the power supply (14.6V → 5V).

Does anyone know how I could diagnose and solve this issue?

When reloading blueos.local and downloading extensions (putting the Pi under load), the volume of the sound increases again, but am not sure what this means or if I should be concerned.
