ISO of a simple sketch connecting Fathom X boards together

After you write the image, to the SD card, eject it from your computer, and insert it into the Raspberry Pi, then turn the Raspberry Pi on.
If it still doesn’t work, do the sudo screen -ls command again, let me know the output, and we will go from there.

well things certainly have improved and I can see and do a lot more, still no video thou

Please do sudo screen -r video on Raspberry Pi, and paste the output.

Ok let me check my set up. I have pi running, camera connected with a data cord from pi o my laptop. Is that correct?

The setup you showed in the pictures before is correct. You typed
sudo screen -r
You need to type
sudo screen -r video

Ok, everything looks ok on the Pi side. Note, you can exit that screen session by typing ctrl+a, then typing d. If you already closed it with ctrl+c, you will need to reboot the Pi.

Can you give me a screenshot of General Settings in QGC, I know you said you can’t reach the video settings on the bottom, but can you show me what that looks like when you try to get there?

Ok, can you uninstall QGC and install the latest stable build, then try again.

ok will do, have to get ready for work soon. Noticed the yellow light isn’t flashing, all other green/yellow lights are

Do you have a telemetry connection in QGC? Does it show that a vehicle is connected?

yes it does show one

new version installed

Can you get a shot of the entire window (including top bar) on the general settings page. Also one of the Fly View (paper airplane icon).

Wow, I’ve never seen that. It should say ‘No Video’ in the little picture-in-picture window. There are two other applications that QGroundControl installs, QGroundcontrol (GPU Safe Mode) and GPU Compatibility Mode, can you try launching those and see if you have any different behavior?

Hey I have video!!! I was using the compatibility mode and went with the simple one. Thank you so much Jacob, you are the man! Now I can go to work tonight with a clear mind LOL
