We are trying to switch to cockpit instead of QGC but we would like to keep on using our DeltaROV HCU which is better than a Xbox gamepad for our BR2 heavy version.
Setting up the controller on Cockpit is particularly tedious, we were wondering if anyone had already managed to do it and if they had the corresponding .json file?

Can you share what is tedious about the process? Do all the buttons and joysticks present as expected? Assigning them to functions should be a quick and easy process, with only a click of the desired button and selection of the desired function for each?

My colleague Vincent is doing it. What he told me is that he can assign the buttons but the joysticks are not recognized (no highlight when moved).
Furthermore, the use of the HCU seems to somehow cause trouble with the interface, cockpit tends to lag intermittently and each time we tilt the camera.
As soon as we plug the Xbox controller instead, all works like a charm.
We will revert to the Xbox controller for now for our missions, that is fine.
