ArduSub for ROV‘s without natural longitudinal stability

Hi,

I am thinking about a ROV with no (or relaxed) longitudinal stability like e.g. the iBubble, the Navatics MITO or the Gladius Mini.

Since the control laws may be compared to those of a multicopter, I would presume that ArduSub could do this.

Every idea or comment is appreciated.

The supported thruster arrangements are here.

If you don’t see what you want, you can also make a custom thruster arrangement.

Thank you Kevin.

In the meantime I researched to possibility to add 2 thrusters to my existing 6-thruster BR2-type ROV to bring it up to the “heavy” configuration which seems to add pitch and roll axes.

This is right!
