USB Low light camera

I installed my USB camera today. Switching on I have a portrait instead of a landscape image. Is there anything in software to flip it please?

Hi Julian,

Can you show how you have it installed? I don’t think there’s a way to do this right now, particularly if it’s portrait instead of landscape. The camera sensor is built with a particular aspect ratio that can’t necessarily be flipped 90 deg.

Hi Julian,

The camera must be mounted on the black mount 90 degrees from where you have it. The lens tightening screw should be facing straight upwards.

I’m sorry if that wasn’t clear anywhere!

Hi Rusty

Thanks for getting back. For orientation I was looking at your images of the above camera in the online documentation but I found that your PCB on the camera looks different to mine.

I will change the camera orientation now.
