Hi,
I used raspi cam last year and it was not good. (image is gone 4 times in the competition 
) Is it about raspi cam or udp connection? I don’t know why but without wifi I can’t reach ardusub menus (like motor, sensors) Also my tether is 20 meter. Now:
1- What is the reason of the image problem?
2-Do I have to connect to the internet for Ardupilot menus?
3- If using fathom-x is necessary are there cheaper options?

You need a proper connection with the ROV, it can be tether ethernet connection, WI-FI
or internet. It’s is important to read more about our companion interface for further information and to know how it works. Some of the menu items like software update require that the ROV have a connection to the internet to fetch the files.
3- If using fathom-x is necessary are there cheaper options?
If you are using a digital camera, you need a network connection to the ROV. You can use Fathom x, or you can use a normal ethernet connection/cable. A normal ethernet connection is only rated to 100m. There are other options with analog video and serial communication, check the Fathom-S Tether Interface.
