Resetting joystick controls on cockpit for Blueboat

Hello,

I have been adding some custom functionality for my blueboat and mapping the new functions to buttons on the controller using Cockpit. However, when testing the boat, I found I was unable to drive it in Cockpit after successfully arming the motors.

I think the problem is that I must have overwritten the joystick controls somehow:

I was wondering exactly what I need to set my controls to in order to have the default settings in Cockpit for driving the boat. Apologies if this question has been asked before, I have not been able to find it.

Best,

Will

Hi @willronan -
It sounds like you’ve removed the axis control from your joysticks? You can set them to the correct axis manually, without loading the default layout that would remove your relay controls. It’s easiest to set them in the table view.

For me, axis 1 is the left joystick, controlling forward/reverse with away/towards, and Axis R controls yaw, left and right on the right joystick.
I’d note you haven’t mapped any of the standard flight modes to buttons - switching between manual or acro mode and loiter, auto modes is a pretty typical approach, but this can be accomplished via the on-screen menu so isn’t strictly necessary…
