Reset joystick to default settings

Is there a way to reset the joystick settings to default? I think something got messed up when I was adjusting the mapping and the thrusters now spin with I arm the ROV.

Thanks

Hi @SCCFML -
Are you using QGC or Cockpit?
The thrusters spinning when the vehicle is armed and in stabilize or depth hold mode would be expected… but not in Manual mode! I’d double check your joystick calibration / axis mapping if you’re in Manual and the props spin when armed.

Thanks for the reply. I just updated to BlueOS and Cockpit (I do not have QGC install on the new computer I am using).

I am using an Xbox controller and tested two on them and the thrusters spin in manual mode with both. Here is a screen shot of the settings and some trouble shooting info. It is all the vertical ones that spin.

Does this look correct? Is there a way to calibrate the controller in Cockpit? If I install QGC and calibrate with it will it carry over to Cockpit?

Thanks

AJ

Hi @SCCFML -
When you move the joysticks around do they values change for Axis X, Y, and Z? I’d guess that your z axis may not be setup correctly?
When not touching the sticks, are all the axis values for X, Y and Z zero?

The z axis should be configured to have a min of 1000 and a max of 0…

@tony-white
Thanks. I set axis 3 to Z and vertical control now works and the thrusters only spins with input.

I need to set axis 2 to be Yaw. What should that be set too?

I think I figure out the Yaw. I set the axis to R. Will have to test once it is ready for the water.

Thanks for the help.
