Ping360 installation on ROV2 heavyweight

Hello Everyone,

I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge. I am assembling a new ROV2 and trying to attach a ping360 sensor. It came with two cables the USB to JST-GH and a JST-GH to Male pin adapter(Green cable). I followed the guide on the Ping360 product page and attached the ethernet cable from the sensor to the adapter and then the USB cable to the raspberry pi. Do I need to use the green cable at all? Does it need to attach to the tether? Or am I done?

Hi @EthanGarcia,

The green, 2-wire cable is used for RS-485 communication, it is not used when connecting the Ping360 to the BlueROV2. If you have followed all the steps in the Ping360 Installation Guide exactly, you should be good to go.
