Navigator not powering up

Hi all, as per title. After connecting the battery pack, the system sound fires up, and there’s light on the tether interface but Navigator is dead. Managed to trace the issue to the 5v power supply (multimeter reads input and output at 14.68V), which suggests the voltage regulator isn’t working as it should right out of the box. I tried to power the Navigator by itself using a benchtop PSU setting it at 5V, 150mA, but nothing is happening as well. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi @Agent_BlueK -

Welcome to the forums!

Sorry for the issue - it seems the 5V power supply failed. Luckily, the Navigator includes over-voltage protection, so it and the Pi should be OK. Please reach out via the help center, report a problem with a product, for a replacement if eligible.

150mA is much too little power (less than a watt!) - how are you connecting 5V to the Navigator? Increasing the current limit to 1.25A should let things start up ok…
