We’ve found some hairline cracks on both the battery tubes in our Rev3 bluerovs. In both cases the fractures are diffused and don’t seem to be very deep. Just wondering if this is expected given the tubes would flex a bit during deeper dives (50m), or if it’s something we should be worried about? In both cases the rovs are operating in waters 20deg C or more.
It’s a bit hard to tell from your photos what’s dust and scratches vs actual cracking. The enclosure should not have cracks, so if it does I would recommend contacting support@bluerobotics.com to discuss the conditions you’ve been operating and storing the enclosure in, and get recompensed if the product has a manufacturing fault or was damaged during shipping or something.
