I am not sure what has changed with my setup but every time I shut QGC it generates a crash report for Apple. Everything seems to be working fine, admittedly I have an old laptop.
OSX 10.13.6
MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2011), 1.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

We have been talking about Macs crashing upon closing QGC for a while. It seems to be a Mac-usb-problem, but at least for me it is not a very bad one, because it only happens when I finish my dives. I get the same message as you (MacOS 10.14.3) when quitting QGC with the controller (Logitech F310) still connected. However, some people have reported QGC crashes during operation, resulting in corruption of the video file. Therefore I now take my video in smaller bits, just in case …!
