XBOX One Controller

Have not tested bluetooth but if you just want wireless the “Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10” (yes that whole thing is the name) works great with the latest QGC in Windows 11 with the series X remote.

I’m using a MacBook Pro. I might just buy the playstation 4 controller instead. Hopefully the D-pad will be programmable

Hi @Millermarine, welcome to the forum

It’s technically possible to alter QGC’s default button numberings, but doing so unfortunately requires building QGC from its source - it’s not configurable via user-accessible settings or something reasonable like that.

There are apparently a couple of potentially relevant Issues that have been raised previously, but as far as I can tell it’s not something the QGroundControl developers have tried to work on.

On the Blue Robotics side of things, we’re currently working on a new control station software with much more generic and configurable joystick mappings. The first stable release should hopefully be within the next month or so.
