Unable to turn in Depth Hold mode or drive backward in Manual mode

When in Depth Hold mode, our vehicle can go up/down/forward/backward, but it won’t turn right or left. When in Manual mode, the vehicle can go up/down/right/left and forward, but it won’t go backward. Has anyone run into this issue or know what the problem could be?

This is definitely unexpected behaviour. As a couple of clarifications, can you try:

  1. confirming that all the propellers can be freely spun by hand (when the vehicle is off/disarmed)?
  2. confirming that all motors spin when expected via a manual Motor Test, and in the expected direction
  3. resetting your vehicle’s parameters, if the above checks are fine
