T200 Desync issues

Hey all,

I’m using a BLHeli32 based Holybro Tekko 4in1 65A ESC (for space reasons) with T200 thrusters. I’ve been able to use the settings posted for the basic ESC and adjust from there to get really smooth motor operation, but I’m having a desync issue.

When rapidly changing motor direction it’s easy to desync the motor (where the motor stops spinning entirely and makes a noise). Pasting my settings below in the hope that someone can help figure out how to resolve this desync issue.

Looks like previously someone had the same issue here - but setting accleration to 1% hasn’t helped me.

Hi @akiUlysses -
Increasing your rampup power may help if the behavior is linked to rapid throttle changes. Give that a try and please share how it goes!

@tony-white Appreciate the suggestion! I tested up to maximum rampup, but it’s still easy to trigger a desync through rapid direction/throttle changes.

However, behaviour has improved when set to 150% rampup. Now when a desync happens the motor is able to “resync” given a stable high throttle at either end.

Although desyncing happening at all is still not workable as the autopilot will often command rapid throttle changes and having an effectively frozen motor then will be far from ideal.

Solved by switching to the same ESC with AM32 firmware, it seems to handle loads like the t200 thruster much much better.
