Announcing SonarView a new sonar viewing program from Cerulean Sonar. Works with Blue Robotics and Cerulean sonars including:

Ping
Ping360
Cerulean Insight240 multibeam sonar
Cerulean S500 sounder

Based on progressive web app technologies, it is highly portable. It is available now for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Future versions (including BlueOS plugin version) will even run in a browser and on iOS and Android.

Yes, the segment controls for the P360 are particularly cool if I do say so myself.

Future rev - maybe consider an option to darkening the tone of the control panel and area around the sonar to reduce bright areas on the screen when operating the ROV ? But that might just be me…

A new update for SonarView is now available!

Changes:

  • Improved Firmware Update Interface
  • Improved UI Controls
  • Entire App Dark Theme (Great suggestion @richard-rickett )
  • User control over Auto-Update, Audio Output, Color theme
  • Hotkeys [See user manual]

SonarView will automatically update itself on Windows and Linux for existing users. Mac auto-update coming soon.
