Sensor_log file with Pingviewer .bin files impossible to find

Hello

I have been a user of the Ping360 with Pingviewer for quite some time now and this is the first time i encounter this issue. I installed Pingviewer (v 2.4.2) on another computer to run a Ping360. Everything works perfectly with the software, ping360 detection and the scanning. I wanted to back up a week of data but impossible to find the Sensor_log file like I was used to on other computers (nor this whole PingViewer file that is usually in documents). I did not bother to check in the first place where the file was as I did this so many times already. Any idea of why that could be? Does it mean none of the data was saved? How I could make sure that my data will be saved in the coming days? Is it a problem of installation?

Thank you for your help !

Best,

Clara

Hi @ClaraS,

Do the files appear as expected when you use Ping Viewer to try to load a file to replay? That could help you to find where the files are being saved.

If that doesnโ€™t work, you might want to check the program logs (you may need to enable ping.filemanager and/or ping.logger) to see whether there are any error messages about being unable to access the file system.

Depending on your operating system, you may need to explicitly allow Ping Viewer to have access to your Documents folder so it can save files there.
