Raspberry Pi Camera Module v2 w/ Wide Angle Lens

Hi,
I have a question before I order the [https://www.bluerobotics.com/store/electronics/cam-rpi-wide-r1/](Raspberry Pi Camera Module v2 w/ Wide Angle Lens).
If I understand correctly, this module is an official raspberry camera V2 with a lens mount and a Wide Angle lens, so if I remove the lens mount I will get the basic PiCam?

Hi,

The raspberry camera has 3 components:

  1. The camera board
  2. M12 adapter
  3. M12 Lens

To turn the Raspberry Pi Camera Module v2 w/ Wide Angle Len in a normal Raspberry camera, it’ll be necessary to change the lens.

The original lens is removed from the board during production, and is not included in the package. If you remove the m12 lens from our wide angle product, there will be no lens in front of the camera.

Does this replacement lens use a “Fish Eye” view to achieve the 110 FOV? Could you possibly include a few example images comparing a standard 62 FOV from a base camera and a 110 FOV from yours?
