Is there a way in QGC to show how many rotations the ROV has done in either direction so you can avoid tether twisting?

There sure is! If you edit the menu at the bottom center of the display, under ApmSub there is a tether turns counter that can be displayed. This will be recorded to the .ass subtitles file and viewable alongside recorded video as well. Let us know if you can’t get it to show up!
