QGC Black Screen on Ubuntu 18.04

Good morning,

I finally finished updating my topside computer to most recent software and it seems to have killed QGC. I’m now running Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS (Upgraded from 16.something). QGC was working great on my previous install but now when I launch, all I get is a black screen and a “Program is not responding” window. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the AppImage. I have chmod +x it and that doesn’t seem to fix anything. I’ve restarted a couple times as well. PingViewer is working just fine. I can connect to the ROV through the web interface. Other than that I’m not sure what else to try. Any suggestions?

I just wanted to follow up. This appeared to be an issue totally unrelated to BR or QGC. I am running an UpSquared board as my topside computer and apparently they don’t support 18.04 yet. I reinstalled to 16.04 and while I still have a few things left to setup, I am now getting QGC to boot just fine.

Also note that the only linux distribution officially supported by QGC is ubuntu 16.
