Position Hold Mode with Cerulean ROVL Mk III

I want to use position hold mode in my vehicle, I am thinking of using Cerulean Sonar ROV Locator Bundle Mark 3 for this. Because I also need location data, I used DVL but it doesn’t provide accurate enough location data. Does Ardusub support Mark III ROV Locator for position hold mode ?

For position hold, you need a DVL. There is a BlueOS Extension available now for the Cerulean DVL. However as you noted, DVLs do not provide long term position accuracy. For that, you need something like the Cerulean ROV Locator. The ROV Locator position does not drift like a DVL, but it only updates about once per second which is not sufficient for position hold.
