Pixhawk 1 compatible board 2.4.8 Could not load firmware file for validation

Could not install firmware. Could not load firmware file for validation. Firmware validation is not implemented for this board yet.

Why is this the case and how can I fix it?

Hi @Collie,

BlueOS currently doesn’t recognise boards that identify as FMUv3 as Pixhawk1 boards. I’ve attempted to address that in this pull request, but in the meantime you should be able to flash on a new firmware by directly connecting your flight controller to a computer running QGroundControl.

If you flash on a Pixhawk firmware instead of an fmuv3 one then it may start presenting itself as a Pixhawk1, in which case the current BlueOS will be able to perform additional firmware updates for it.

Yes, that’s true, I figured that out that day.
