PingViewer on Ubuntu Desktop 21.10

I’ve loaded Ubuntu Desktop 21.10 onto a RaspberryPi4b. But the PingViewer won’t execute. It comes back with: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error.

Is this a processor incompatibility issue?

Hi @k-deboer,

I asked the software team and was told

so the RPi4B processor isn’t compatible with the pre-built version, but you should be able to compile it yourself if you want to :slight_smile:

Good thing I didn’t scratch all of the hair off my head. :grinning:

I may take a stab at compiling it…or dig up a x86 machine.
