No new product announcement for today. Instead, I want to bring your attention to The Abyss
The Abyss is the home for discontinued/end-of-life products or products that have minor aesthetic blemishes. These are the same quality products, just at a discounted price.
Here are some examples of what you’ll find there:
- O-Ring Flanges (Not RAILS compatible) ($9–$30) – these are the same as the current WTE locking flanges, just without the RAILS alignment holes (but you can modify the rails to force compatibility).
- Vent Bulkhead and Plug ($2) – this is the old style of vent for Watertight Enclosures. If you have a non-locking type enclosure, or just need a general purpose vent, this will work great.
- M10 Bulkhead Wrench ($4) – These are the old style bulkhead wrench but are still compatible with all M10 bulkheads. Nice to have a few extra around.
- Potting dispenser (epoxy gun) + mixing tips ($9, $5) – these work with standard 50 ml epoxy cartridges in 1:1 or 2:1 ratios.
- Non-locking 3” Tubes and Flanges ($20, $9) – these are the old enclosure design without the locking cord, but still seal reliably.
