I ordered a Fathom-X tether interface board set. One works perfectly - my laptop recognises that a device has been plugged in and creates an IP address., The other On the other, LEDs on the RJ45 connector don’t light up and and nothing is recognised by the laptop.
The LX200V20 seems to work fine, as when I swap them between modules, the one that worked before still works, and the dud is still a dud. I’ve swapped power supplies too, using 12v and USB.
This leads me to believe there is something wrong with the carrier board.
I have a working knowledge of elecronics and a multimeter, but I’m not sure where to start with troubleshooting the PCB…
