Endpoint and routing

Hi, I’m using Bluerov2 and i try to use endpoint and route.

So I Connect a serial device on usb port of the raspberry PI companion.
I check the comunication with my serial device with raspberry pi minicom and it work’s on the both direction.

I tried to communicate with the routing system.
So I made route from my serial device to an UDP 192.168.2.1 port 1240 and I recieve all messages from my serial device in my computer.
Now I try to make a route from my computer to my serial device but it didn’t work.
What I miss?

You need to use 0.0.0.0 or 192.168.2.2 for the host. The Pi can’t bind to ports on remote hosts. Or you can bind to the incoming port in your program after you receive data on the 192.168.2.1 machine.

I just wanted to add that, for me, I could not use 192.168.2.2 as my server could not bind to it because of the active connection on the rPi.

I had to use 0.0.0.0
