Cockpit download issue

I have attempted multiple times to download Cockpit. It fails at the end, saying network issue. Is anyone else having this issue

Hi @darren.horler -

Where are you trying to download it from? I am not able to replicate your issue downloading from here… it could be issues with your internet connection or firewall?

I will try when I get to a different internet connection. I’m thinking I need cockpit to solve an issue that I’m not having with getting the Qground and it not allowing me to record the video anymore.

Hi @darren.horler -

The message you see in QGroundControl there is expected - the program has not been updated to know what parameters are present in the ArduSub firmware. The message is a nuisance warning, and should not affect functionality.

Do you have a video stream present in QGround Control? What happens when you try to record video?

I do have a video stream. When in the map view the record (red Button) appears on the screen. Once the rov is connected the video stream displays and the video record (red Button) disappears.

I have a vague recollection that this could be related to QGC assuming that all video streams presented via MAVLink are able to be recorded onboard the vehicle. It may help to disable the MAVLink connection for your video stream in the Extra configuration section of the stream in the BlueOS Video Streams page.

Hi @darren.horler -

I’d bet you’re using a newer version of QGround Controla s well - we’ve only tested / support version 4.2.8 which may not have the issue you’re encountering (but will pester you to update on every launch….)
