Blueboat PicoMB131 Integration

Hi,

I have got a PicoMB131 integrated with my Blueboat. All hardware is connected and trying to test and get talking through onboard computer.

I have connected the port hatch where electronics for this are located to the battery (only by the XT90 connection). When I connect ethernet I am unable to access IPs and cannot access IPs for this when when connected with wireless connection. I think this is a power issue but unsure.

Does anyone have any advice.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @JoeChapman -

Besides getting assistance from PictoTech, you’ll want to verify you have connected the sonar to an Ethernet switch on the starboard side of the BlueBoat? Do you know what the default IP address of the system should be? It may need to be changed to be on the same subnet as the vehicle, 192.168.2.X….

If you’re connecting to the vehicle/BlueOS via it’s IP on a WiFi network, connected in BlueOS (and not via the BaseStation) you won’t be on the correct subnet to reach the sonar. You could still get there via the Proxy extension, which lets you reach devices like this…

Hi @tony-white

Thanks for the response. I have managed to resolve this. Involved ensure all ethernet connections between Raspberry pi, onboard computer for the PicoTech and router to the basestation were correct with correct IPs.

Thanks for you help
