Good evening. I use navigator board with QGC or Cockpit, I’m currently testing which one is the mos conveninet for me to use.
My problem is what ever I use cockpit or QGC when I arm the ROV after few seconf this one is automatically desarming.
I read a similar thread concerning the alarm compass degraded which occured each time before the desarming of the ROV but, at the end the problem is ot related to it.
I don’t know where to look as I didn’t have this problem before.
More over the calibration is done and both integrated cmpass are in the green zone.
If one have an idea to solve this issue. Thanks already
Hi @Njanaprakasam -
To confirm, you’re not trying to use both Cockpit and QGC at the same time? This is not supported, and may cause the issue you’re seeing…
Are any error messages presented in the interface? Screenshots help! What version of Cockpit, QGC, and BlueOS are you trying to use?
Good morning,
For your first question,
Both are not open in the same time.
QGC does the same, arm and desarm few second after. problem is no consistent, so difficult to trouble shoot. Yesterday I could not connect. and today sometimes ok sometimes not.
For Cockpit seems the problem is not consistent, also.
Sometimes Cockpit desarm and sometimes it stay armed as it should be.
Anyway I planned to use only Cockpit on a near futur as my ROV is nearly finished.
version of cockpit is:
Version 1.0.0
Created by Blue Robotics
Licensed under AGPL-3.0-only or LicenseRef-Cockpit-Custom
Curent version of QGC is:
Ver: 5.0.2 64 bit
Current version of blueOS is:
BlueOS Version: tags/1.4.2-0-g0a0043f3 Bootstrap Version: 1.3.1
Thanks for your help.
When the problem will be here again I will take a prntscreen of the log erros and update the post.
Hi @Gilles -
You should definiteley update Cockpit, version 1.0 is almost a year old!!! You can find the latest standalone version on github, or update within BlueOS if you’re using the extension. However, the issue seems to be the autopilot process itself restarting, potentially. What version of ArduSub are you running? You can find this under Autopilot Firmware - updating to the latest stable is generally a good idea, and could fix the issue…
Do you hear any beeps fro the system when the system disarms?
It’s also worth updating the BlueOS bootstrap - see the yellow button on the BlueOS Version page (may need to be in pirate mode.)
Finally, please share system logs, downloaded with the gear icon in the lower left.
Ok thanks I will do all and revert
Thanks for your assistance
