I know that an I5 with 8GB RAM minimum computer is recommended but I see iPhones and iPads being used.
Will my Asus T102 Tablet with detachable keyboard work?
It has an Intel Atom x5-Z8350 CPU @ 1.44 GHz and 4 GB RAM. It is not possible to add more RAM.
It also has no LAN port so I will have to get a LAN/USB adapter. The Asus has USB 2 and USB 3 mini inputs. I cannot just try it until I have an adapter.
I tried the same kind of thing with an Atom powered tablet and it was totally non-functional. iOS and Android devices are very different animals, for a Windows or Mac or Linus PC you need something pretty powerful, especially in the GPU. It’s not so much the demands of QGC itself, it’s mostly the video decoding that requires some decent computing power.
