Waterproofing Motor Connections

I have a quick question, So I am building A DIY ROV and I would like to know what is the best way to waterproof the connections from the brushless motors to the thruster cable. Thanks.

@NIW,

Two methods which assume that you are attaching the thruster cable wires to the brushless motor wires:

Use 3M heatshrink with a built-in sealer and cover it with normal black heat shrink.

Or use liquid tape to seal the solder joints and then cover with normal black heat shrink.

Thanks, would any marine heat-shrink work?

I don’t see why not, but I have only used stock heat shrink and it has worked for me.
