I’m currently working with BlueOS version 1.3.1, and I want to install ROS 2 on my system. However, whenever I try to install it, I encounter an error message stating that this version of ROS 2 is not compatible with the current machine running BlueOS.
Here are a few details about my setup:
BlueOS version: 1.3.1
Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a workaround to get ROS 2 running on BlueOS 1.3.1, or do I need to switch to a different version of BlueOS or ROS 2?
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Hi @Bibxi123 -
How did you install BlueOS? The standard 1.3.1 image should be compatible, maybe you grabbed the 64 bit? Or installed on top of an existing OS?
Hi @Bibxi123 -
It turns out that extension is only compatible with 64bit BlueOS, which is not (yet) the standard version. You could flash that version, and give it a try, but you may run into other issues due to the 64 bit platform, such as wifi connectivity.
