Tether turn in cockpit

Hi guys, i tried to able tether turn in cockpit. I have read the cockpit documentation. It looks like the tether turn available in widget but i didnt find it in my cockpit. Please give me a guide how to enable the tether turn?.

Hi @Zamzam,

Tether turns can be viewed using the Very Generic Indicator mini-widget - there’s even a built in preset for it

To add one,

  1. Use the sidebar menu to open Edit Mode
  2. Select “mini-widget” in the “Widget type” dropdown in the bottom section
  3. Scroll over to find the Very Generic Indicator option, with the question mark icon
  4. Click and drag it onto your View’s top or bottom bar, or some form of container widget
  5. Select the “Tether turns” preset on the window that opens up

Hi Eliot,
We succesfully showing up the widget but it is not counting as the ROV rotating.
Can you help?
Thanks

I’ve just tried it and found it seems to have some incorrect defaults. It worked well for me when I edited it (by clicking the cog beside the widget name in the left sidebar on edit mode, or just by right-clicking the widget in normal mode and clicking “options”), and changed the multiplier from 100 to 1:

The decimal places you can set to 0 if you just want integers, or 2 if you want to track quarter turns (which I’ve just submitted a firmware pull request to enable).

If that doesn’t help, please check that you’ve calibrated your sensors (especially the compasses), and if you’re still having issues please specify which ArduSub version and flight controller board type you’re using.
