T200 thrusters seized

Hello everyone, it has been awhile, since we have been on here.
Question;
Went to fire up BlueROV2 and all 6 thrusters were seized.
Can I just replace the M200 motors or do I need to replace all the T200 thrusters?
Just wondering I could just splice the wires going to the M200 motor?
Replacing all 6 thrusters will get expensive.

Hi @spudder -
Sorry to hear about the issues. I’d guess the ROV wasn’t rinsed well, and used in proximity to a sandy bottom? This can lead to coatings being abraded and corrosion causing the T200 thrusters to seize.
The BlueROV2 does not use any M200s!
You can likely replace the T200 rotors on the stuck motors, by taking the thruster apart and swapping the prop to the new rotor - assuming all your stators are ok!
