Subsea lumen lens bolts

Yesterday while servicing one of my ROVs, I noticed a lens bolt missing on one if my subsea lumen lights.

I then noticed the exact same bolt missing on the lights on my other ROV.

Is this just coincidental that exactly the same bolt is missing on the two sets, or is it deliberate?

Sorry to hear about your issue with our Lumen lights!

We don’t design our lights to have bolts falling out, if that’s what you’re asking? Given the mounting angle and resulting protrusion from the vehicle that screw does seem more exposed than the others on the light, so maybe it’s been hitting things in tight spaces during operation and/or transport?

Not sure what else it could be, but you may wish to submit a product problem report so we can keep track of it as an issue.

I assume they are M3? Do you know their length, by chance?

I just measured one from my bench setup, and they’re apparently M3 with a 5mm thread length.
