I have recently bought my second BR2, for which I used the online assembly guides. When going onto the Software setup guide, I see that it still points to QGC for frame setup, sensor calibration ,motor detection, etc. As Cockpit is now out and about, when will the software setup guide offer setup guidance for Cockpit as well as QGC?

We’re indeed going to update the guide eventually to use BlueOS for vehicle setup - this isn’t really done in Cockpit! We’re waiting to finish a few things to reach feature parity before doing so…
In the meantime, you can calibrate compass, accelerometer, and even the gyroscope in the BlueOS vehicle setup, as well as perform the motor direction in-water calibration - all with QGC not open at the same time of course! Setting frame type would be done directly via parameter, but will eventually have a GUI for selection.
