Replacing Raspberry Pi with a Udoo?

Hey,

We are looking into switching our Raspberry Pi with a Udoo as we would like to do some more powerful bottom side.

After doing some research it looks like there could be an issue with using Raspberry Pi images on the Udoo due to the differences in architecture.

I am relatively new to this kind of stuff but has anoney tired something similar or has an idea if this would me feasible?

Thanks!

The software that runs on the Pi is called companion. This will not run on any other platform without some modification. It is not strictly necessary to run companion to achieve the same functionality. The two main components are MAVProxy for the telemetry and gstreamer for the video. I would say it is feasible, it’s just a matter of spending the time familiarizing yourself with the software components involved.
