When I move the camera too far up the video cuts out and does not come back till the battery has been pulled and the system reboots. If I’m in a situation where I need to reboot wile the ROV is under water is there a way to do this. I know when calibrating the compass there is a reboot option but I haven’t been able to find it otherwise.
hi @darren.horler - You can reboot while submerged using the Blueos mainpage power off options (down the bottom of the menu on the left hand side).
This gives you a bunch of options from just restarting the autopilot, doing a ‘soft’ reboot or a full system (blueos) reboot. You also have the option of reloading cockpit if you use the stand alone version (highly recommended).
Real solution requires working out why this is happening as it shouldnt but check this technical bulletin which might be relevant.
I apologize for my ignorance but I’ve looked everywhere for the options you are talking about. Is it in ground control? I have done the update of the navigator.

Hi @darren.horler -
The reboot option Bill mentions is in the BlueOS interface - not in QGC. You would need to open a Chrome browser and navigate to blueos.local or 192.168.2.2 to find it!
Generally you shouldn’t need to reboot your vehicle to get the camera feed going again. It sounds like the camera cable connector is stressed when you look too far up - re-routing it to have more slack would likely fix the root cause…
