Hello, I recently installed the Power Sense Module. QGroundControl is now displaying a live current reading. However, regardless of what the vehicle is currently doing, the current is continuously reported as ~12 A, fluctuating only by +/- 0.1 A maximum. This seems wrong, since it’s expected that the current would be noticeably higher when the motors are spinning versus when they’re not. Has anyone encountered this problem? I followed the installation and calibration instructions posted on the Blue Robotics site.
That’s not expected behaviour - I expect you either have an incorrectly set scaling factor, or a defective sensor. If you haven’t already sorted this out then I’d recommend contacting our support email (email@example.com) to let them know what’s going on and your order number (or at least rough order date) and discuss how to continue from there.
