Hi @o.o, yes, when I unplug the Ping360, SonarView then sees the Ping2. I notice when I am in SonarView connected to the Ping2 it says there is a firmware update. As installed it has firmware 1.0.0 and says 2.32.2 is available, but when I go to update the firmware it says “Update Failure: FWU_Erase_Failed”.
If I go to PingViewer and check the firmware there it also says version 1.0.0. It looks like it is looking for an update, and when I click the Firmware Update button, it shows “Error: It’s only possible to flash via serial.”
The Ping2 is connected directly to serial 5 on the board. Is it possible that the issue is the difference in firmware? How do I get it to update?
When the Ping360 is plugged back it, it will only recognize the Ping360.

Okay that tells me a lot!
When connecting to a Ping device, we use the UDP-to-serial bridge, not a direct serial connection between SonarLink and the device. There was a bug (fixed in 1.11.5) that would only allow discovery to succeed for one such bridged device at a time.
Edit: There was another fix we wanted to get in before releasing so the update will be in 1.11.6, which should be available tonight (in about 17 hours).
As for updating the firmware, I don’t think it’s a cause. But you should be able to update the firmware by plugging the device into a non-BlueOS computer running the Desktop version of SonarView. Make sure that “Enable Serial Devices” is selected in App Settings so it can find the device.
