New TSR-900 OEM Echosounder

We are launching a new single channel sonar, the TSR-900 Echosounder (OEM version) at Oceanology 2026 next week. The TSR-900 is a compact, OEM version, coherent single-beam echosounder designed for seamless integration into autonomous surface vessels (ASVs), small AUVs, and shallow-water robotic platforms operating to 50 m depth (transducer limit).

Built on the proven signal architecture of our TSR-1000 Echosounder, the TSR-900 delivers high-quality, pin-to-ping coherent sonar data in a lightweight OEM form factor — ideal for robotics developers, system integrators, and research teams building next-generation marine autonomy.

Our TSR-900 and TSR-1000 are full compatible with Ping Viewer and Ping Viewer Next using the Ping1D (8 bit, 200 data points) or TSR (16 bit, up to 5000 data points) protocols.

In addition we have a custom open protocol which allows collection of I/Q data and multi-ping transmit pulse generation for Doppler measurement applications.

Starting price for the TSR-900 Echosounder (OEM) will be $500 CDN (~$375USD)

Link to the TSR github repository, added example Python code and command protocol user guide. The TSR-900 OEM Echosounder and TSR-1000 Echosounder use the same drivers and command protocol providing a clear upgrade path from an OEM level product with shallow water transducer to full industrial deployment with a 1000 meter rated underwater housing, underwater connector and enhanced deep water, high frequency, narrow beam transducer.
