I‘m working on nine to. Since i got. my 3D Printer a couple of days ago … it should speed up the build.
Question: how didi you Mount the Slip Ring and wich one are you using.

I printed the adapter ring I included in the project. I used self tapping screws to secure that ring inside the spool as seen in the pictures, then secured the slipring to that adapter ring with 3 more screws. I used an eBay special 6 wire ring, I’ve since upgraded to an 8 wire. The biggest pain was the need to drill through the mild steel center core of the spool.
