Metal Prop Too Heavy for M200?

I 3D printed a larger, 150mm version of the weedless propeller for use on the M200. Having it in my hands now, I wonder if it could be too heavy at 190g for the motor. We’ll balance it and intend to run it at low speeds, but it does significantly increase the radial motor loads of a cantilevered rotor design.

I’d love a sense and feel for this from, “probably not an issue” to “worth a try but the motor may not last long” to “don’t even think about it”.

Hi Marianna, we have tested stainless steel propellers on the T500 in the past and ran them hard for several days. There was no difference in wear vs the lightweight plastic propeller.

I think it is important that they be balanced properly but otherwise it is fine!
