Making waypoints above the same sea depth (bathymetry mission)

Steps:

  1. Screen capture from Garmin | Marine Maps

  2. Follow procedure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiOipO6kseY (if transparency not working disable “Use photorealistic atmosphere rendering”)

  3. Make points in Google Earth and export them to kml file.

  4. In Mission planner “Load KML file”

  5. Recreate waypoints in desired direction

  6. Export .txt or .waypoints file

  7. Import exported file into QGroudcontrol

  8. Delete content from poi.txt file

Hi @e-sup -
Can you share some more context for your goals here? You’re using google earth and Garmin image to plan waypoints that follow a particular contour line, I think?
