Lumen R1 regulator switching frequency

I would like to measure the rolling shutter duration on my (non-stock) camera, and while playing around noticed that at low exposures I an see interlaced lines in the image where the illuminating lumen lights are switching either on or off.

Knowing the switching frequency of the lights would give me a simple way of calculating the shutter duration.

Thank you.

Hi Carl,

The Lumen uses an Allegro A6211 LED driver that is driven by a signal from the onboard microcontroller. For the first version (R1) of the lights, the driving frequency is 3.9 kHz. For the newer version (R2) of the lights, the driving frequency is 7.8 kHz.

I hope that helps!
