Just curious … is this for real life “sea life” or the current MATE competition?
We are not working on MATE, but would be interested if anyone is using it there or for ocean research anyway.
Flir on fish or jellys would be rather optimistic I presume ! They’r temperature is most likely equal to the water. But seals are “hot blooded”, so that might work
FLIR is just the brand (I think they acquired Point Grey imaging), so the cameras are not actually thermal (unlike the original FLIR). Point Grey made (make?) machine vision cameras.
