@Mikxie, not yet. Tonight I will do the drawing and tomorrow I will give the order. I was confused, what do you use for your wing polycarbonate or acrylic (plexiglass)?
I use 6 mm PC
Do you need a measurement of my wing?
@Mikxie, ok thank you! I will follow your way because the price is half of the polcarbonateās price in Greece.
@Mikxie, if it easy for you and you know the exact dimensions I will avoid the mathematicsā¦thank you
I use polycarbonate!
The wing is 34x106 cm with rounded edges
But I am sure that the exact dimensions is not so important.
@Mikxie, great, thank you for the measurents! Ok polycarbonate then!
@Mikxie can you kindly clarify how the 20kg weight is attached and what the weight itself looks like? A detailed diagram of your setup, including dimensions and materials, would be much appreciated.
The weight is similar to a kettle bell and is hanging in a winch on the ship. 10 m from the ROV, the tether is tied to the weight with a shorts piece of rope that does not slide on the tether.
This is not exact science, you just need something heavy that keeps the ROV near the bottom.
