I have the old style charger. It seems to work, except for the buttons board. There is no response on MENU, Minus, Plus and ENTER.
Has anyone had the same issue and managed to resolve it?
After opening the case and measuring it turns out my buttons was shorted/broken.
The connector for the button pad has 5 pins. With the charger in front of you the pin most to the right side is ground. The other 4 pins measure 5.3v and register key presses when shorted to ground.
Example. If I short the most right pin (GND) to the next most right pin (ENTER), it will register an ENTER key press.
