While you could use the Navigator with an AUV, this is not a supported use-case by default. You would need position information for Ardusub to perform navigation autonomously - this can be done with DVL or water link GPS system. I’d recommend developing your vehicle with a tether, verifying auto mode, and then removing the tether and communicating with the vehicle via WiFi with it at the surface to initiate a mission.
